For 23 years, we (Dominique Lampaert and Bea Meyns) ran a restaurant in Belgium. At the end of August 2013 we closed its doors. No, not because we were tired of it, but because we longed for an other life and a new challenge.
We are wine lovers with a soft spot for the Burgundy region, that is why we visited Chablis for the first time in 1999. Immediately we lost our heart to this charming place and not much later we bought a little house in the city centre.
The last 15 years we have gradually discovered the region and its fantastic wines. That is how the idea grew to start something new here. It came to our attention that tourists often just make a quick stop in this beautiful region, even though there is a lot to see if you know where to look for it. What we want, is for our guests to discover the region during a pleasant, relaxing trip.
